Increase Empathy for Students with Disabilities
Description
Did You Know?
An estimated 160,000 students stay home from school every day for fear of being bullied. It’s a tough world out there, and it’s toughest in middle school. Often it’s children with special needs who dread going to school and facing the humiliation brought on by bullies.
Project:
You can lead an innovative and experiential SNAP training at your school to increase empathy for people with disabilities and reduce the number of bullying incidents.
This project was co-written by:

Zachary Certner,
2012 Hasbro Community Action Hero,
President & Co-Founder of SNAP, Inc.
