Shannon McNamara

The 18-year-old founder of SHARE, visits Tanzania for the fourth time in the summer of 2011.

(Love those generationOn/Hasbro puzzles!)

(Reading on of the books donated through SHARE.)

(Awesome people and awesome orgs!)

After visiting Tanzania with her family and seeing the lack of school supplies, Shannon founded an after-school reading exchange called SHARE to provide kids in Tanzania with books. Since 2008, she, her parents and older brother and sister have established four libraries with 33,000 books, created reading programs, and so much more! Read the story!
