learning to give

Body

GenerationOn’s standards-aligned curricula encourages young people to explore global and local issues, learn and practice life skills, and create partnerships with their community. Our curricula focuses on improving outcomes for Pre-K through high school age youth—including school engagement, academic success, character education and leadership building.

Curricula are organized by grade level and subject, providing for seamless integration into in-school, after-school and out-of-school time.  We offer individual lesson  plans (Learning to Give) and thematic  lesson guides.

Learning to Give

  • GenerationOn’s Learning to Give resources help teachers educate youth about the importance of philanthropy, the civil society sector, and civic engagement.
  • Learning to Give offers over 1,500 individual K-12 lessons and educational resources for teachers, parents, youth workers, faith-based groups and community leaders free of charge.
  • Individual lessons are coded to state, Common Core and philanthropy standards.
