Thank-You Art

Thank-You Art
Project:

Create a banner, poster, or other piece of art to say "thank you" to the people who serve others every day.

Here's what you need:
Fabric, a sheet, or poster board
Colored felt
Fabric markers, markers, or paint
Fabric glue
Pencils
Here's how you do it:
1
If you are using fabric or a sheet, cut it to the size you want your work of art to be.
2
Write a thank-you message in pencil.
3
Go over your thank-you message in fabric marker, regular marker, or paint.
4
Cut fun shapes and letters from the colored felt.
5
Stick your shapes and letters to your work of art using fabric glue.
6
Hang your work of art in a public space. Or, present it to a group of people who serve others: firefighters, paramedics, police officers, service members and veterans.
