On Thursday, May 26, 2011 generationOn recognized a special group of adults and kids for their outstanding leadership in youth service.  Honorees included Brian Goldner, President and CEO, Hasbro, Inc, Tonya Lewis Lee and Spike Lee, and philanthropist Laurie M. Tisch, President, Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund, and six extraordinary young leaders from across the country who were presented  Hasbro Community Action Hero awards.

The Art of Giving Benefit is an important vehicle through which generationOn raises funds to support its youth service programs and highlights individuals for bringing positive change to our communities. The event was attended by over 350 individuals, including Newark Mayor Cory Booker; actress Sigourney Weaver; Silda Wall Spitzer, founder of Children for Children; and Michelle Nunn, CEO of Points of Light Institute.
