Big Happenings
All-America H.S. Service Team
Meet the team of outstanding youth leaders!
Body
From aiding Haiti earthquake survivors to feeding the hungry in local communities to educating peers about environmental issues, young people across the country are helping to shape their communities — and the world —through service.
GenerationOn and PARADE Magazine have selected 15 outstanding high school students who have made exemplary contributions in the service areas of health, education, environment, economics or community. These students see service as a solution to solve community problems and have used the power of stories to inspire others to action.
On Aug. 9, the All-America Service Team was honored at a special ceremony in Washington, D.C., hosted by PARADE and generationOn, along with special guest U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.
